Hardware Version Upgrade Notice
Dear Valued Global Partners,
Bivocom announces the gradual upgrade of its gateways TG452, TG462 and TG462S series, related customized gateways using the same platform to a new platform, to enhance product competitiveness and ensure global supply chain stability. This update focuses on performance enhancement and clear customization policies for both new and existing customers.
Bivocom will deliver B version hardware for all new orders with immediate effect, accompanied by updated firmware; we cease accepting new customized firmware requests for A versions, with all future customied developments based on the B platform. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the sales engineer.
Service Impact:
❌ Customization Termination: New firmware customization requests for A hardware closed after May 16, 2025.
✔️ Legacy Support: Only standard firmware and ongoing customized firmware maintenance for existing A customers until May 16, 2025.
✔️Order: For any new A version orders, Bivocom will support till August 31, 2025, and customers are suggested to order B version during and after this period.

📈 50% CPU Frequency Boost: 528MHz → 792MHz
⚡ Zero Transition Cost: Full hardware/software backward compatibility
Firmware Compatibility Notes:
- Incompatible Versions: A/B firmware cannot be interchanged.
- Feature Parity: Standard B firmware functions identical to A (no functionality changes).
- Free Migration Service: Customized A firmware can be migrated to B at no cost (contact us)
